  1. This storm was named by the Portuguese Met Service, who have a different list of names to the one we use in the United Kingdom, Ireland and the Netherlands. (*ping @Jo Farrow* Referring to the end of the first paragraph "More later on why this is 'J' not 'C' for the storm name after Boxing Day Bella.", shouldn't the 'C' be 'D' as we've already had Storm Christoph?)
  2. *Note to self* Avoid walking on the decking later when out for a fag.
  3. That latter forecast from yesterday for this morning pretty much matches this mornings reading. EGVA 290742Z AUTO 00000KT 9999 SCT015 BKN055 00/00 A2913 RMK AO2 SNE0656UPB0656E09UPB11E13SNB13E41 SLP872 $ Snow started 6:29am (time from the second-previous reading) and ended 6:56am. Then started back up at 7:11am until 7:41am.
  4. Not long just had our 5-10 minute flurry. Started off really light, then it beefed-up the flakes for a few minutes, then died away. I want more now... gimme more!
  5. A very light dusting ~an hour ago here, what's left on the floor and roofs looks pretty.
  6. On a 1440x900 monitor the heading seems to have crept up and off the page.
  7. Yet another that's bypassed me but is heading north (picture taken in the direction of RAF Fairford.)
  8. Well... erm... I've had to rotate the image I had taken from the top of that main Cb, all I'll say is "it's given me flashbacks to an ex from many years back."
  9. The camera doesn't do justice, but that Cb at the back is proper tall, like tall as in "is a farts-distance away from the ISS." Wow.
  10. It's looking pretty from my location looking towards RAF Fairford direction. All is travelling north. Cor blimey, it's a squirrel (or a rabbit) eating a nut.
