  1. Ah here is the rain, really fine fluffy stuff. Not the sort of rain linked with a storm. It has got very muggy since the rain started.
  2. All we have had here is about 10 mins of light rain. Some through the night too. I think the storms are going round me again. It is very weird that we are often forecast rain and have warnings out, but it rarely hits us, very dry part of the country. But I like a bit of torrential rain now and again. Perhaps Bertha will bring some?
  3. Cannot believe it has missed us again. Bertha better bring me some storms!
  4. Great pics Greenday! I will have to look at the video at home later.
  5. What???? KL is missing all the storms this year. I saw this one build up right outside my window, then float off. Did absolutley nothing here.
  6. Hope it reaches me!!! Just cloudy here at the mo, nothing threatening..
  7. Another site I use believes that Thursday and Friday will bring thunder storms It actually has the icon, which is a very rare sight!
  8. Apparently we finally had a thunder storm about 4am this morning (I was told, I slept through it!!!) The rest of the day has been very warm and cloudy.Clouds look white, not at all angry...
  9. I thought it was! I always say I think my ideal climate is Canada.
  10. Hard to say, it looked like it was definately going to hit Great Yarmouth, now it has spread out a bit and dropped. So probably yeah you London and South East are gonna nick it again!
  11. Favourite is Summer and Winter really. If I could I would live in a country with 30Degree summers, with thunderstorms most nights. Then a quick switch to cold very heavy snowy winters for a few months. Perfect I hate the boring inbetween!!
  12. Ah right fair enough. My thanks were not sarcastic by the way. (hard to get your manner across on a forum) I look at about 6 weather forecasts per day, some are right more than others. Some read a station way to far away from me to predict my weather too.
  13. Thank you Nick. But shows that you cant look at a warning area and say "Yes there will be a storm over my house later" I was trying to make a point to'ncikos'
  14. Prime example: http://www.metcheck.com/UK/warnings.asp (hope this allowed) Look at the map, I am right up in 'The Wash', in the yellow warning area. Yet the warning if you read it says storm developed in South Essex and heading South West. So very unlikely it will take a sudden U-turn and go North.
  15. No idea of the temperature out there now, as sitting in an air conditioned office. Will check my station at lunch time. Was lovely and warm this morning at 8. Looks clear out there, but a little breezy.
  16. I love the heat in the day, but yes the nights are getting very tiring. It's hard to get a good nights sleep at the mo. Still want the heat to stay as long as it can possibly hold on for though!
  17. 22 Degrees (according to the internet), sunny clear skies, just a few whipsy clouds. Little bit windy again though.
  18. All I'm saying is don't bash the forecasters for issuing a warning, they do say "Not all areas will see a storm, but those that do they have the potential to be quite severe" and as I said some houses were a victim of this warning. My town was in the red zone for the warning, but all we got was a heavy rain shower and about 2 distant rumbles. So it must have been close, can't blame them for that. To the person who said an apology should be issued. Are you serious?
  19. Do you not read the news?? Several houses were struck by lightning which set their house on fire. A lady was throw backwards against a wall after her sky dish was struck. I think the weekend's storms were more than worthy of a warning. This is the UK, we don't see storms like this every day.
  20. No storm for us last weekend, was not happy as really prepared for an amazing storm. But 16 miles away 2 weekends before we had a pretty good storm that I would of missed had I been at home..
