Nothing but hail today here :/ temps are all over the place one min 6.5 next drops to 4 just before a shower..... Kids are desperate for snow they driving me nuts!!

Heavy snow/hail shower passed through about half hr ago, temp dropped just before it happened

No snow in my village not even sleet but village 10 min drive away is white

WSW winds 18.8mph, max gust so far 39mph, 990.6mb and 8.6mm rain today (hoping station is correct...not mine)

8.3c cloudy and drizzling really need dry sunny days as garden needs to dry out

Clear frosty and -1.7

Finally holsworthy has dropped below freezing!!!! -0.7c wonder if it will drop any further

Dropped 3c in 3 hrs here current temp 2.7 we might get a frost for a change

No ice day here... Still not dropped below 5..... Currently 5.4

Thanks knocker, yes did mean ssw not sure why it come up with SWW :/ I love the ups and downs of the mod thread makes very interesting and sometimes amusing reading!! I'm still waiting for winter to hit here have only seen 2 nights below freezing

I gotta ask (being a newbie) but in mod thread they mentioned easterly and SWW How much will that have influence in our area, over the years I'm getting the idea about the charts but as an overall picture of the UK not just a certain area (if you get what I mean) thanks.

It's that cold my personal weather station reading 8.8c!!! So the cold snap never made it here
