I'm really interested to know if it's possible to obtain uk weather charts for July 29th 2013? Had a plough through search engines but no joy. Reason I ask is that I clearly remember it was a day of several thunderstorms here in wiltshire. Can remember 5 separate storms. I'm no expert but I think they were of the single cell variety, clearly defined and with outstanding thunder/lightning, rain and gusts. What made them special for me, and different from these Spanish plume storms, was that between each cell the skies were clear, so you could see them approaching from quite a distance. I just wish at the time I'd taken more interest in the events that led to them. Thank you in advance if anyone is able to help, or would be great if anyone local remembers!

All day so far, the excitement has been skimming past devizes :-(

New here so excuse me if I'm in the wrong forum, but this Spanish plume has me pretty excited..... Am I right in thinking that after tonight and the early hours Tstorms there'll be some respite and it'll fuel up again Saturday afternoon? Think I'll sleep through tonight's activity and get out on the road tomorrow. Prefer to witness these storms during daylight where you can see the cell structures. Can't wait!
