  1. 93E is now Vance. 94E is active at about 125 deg E but the NHC give it only 10%/10% chance due to dry air.
  2. Quick update: 93L became TD Nine which dissipated and became 94L which then strengthened to TS Hanna which dissipated again and is now 96L. (That's 3 invests for a system!) We also have 95L with 20/30 chance near the Lesser Antilles.
  3. Since no one has updated this, I will update this. 99E became Hurricane Rachel 90E then formed and became Major Hurricane Simon 91E moved into the CPAC, was renamed 95C and is now Hurricane Ana 92E became TS Trudy
  4. Ana has weakened to a high-end TS. The CPHC forecast strengthening starting form 36 hours and reaching peak intensity between day 3-4.
  5. Vongfong has now weakened with winds of 80 knots (1-min) / 90 knots (10-min)
  6. Genevieve is now just a 40-knot tropical storm according to both JTWC and JMA. Both agencies forecast dissipation within 48 hours.
  7. Genevieve is now a cat.5 typhoon! 1.
