  1. Heavy snow now here (just north of Southend). Settling on cars etc..
  2. Seems to me that the confidence seen in the forecasts yesterday pm for something decent for the SE today has ebbed a little overnight. Forecasts this morning have definitely toned it down a bit.
  3. What conditions would you expect that to bring Knocker?
  4. Another flip flop, but isnt this what the experts have been saying to expect as the models struggle/get to grips? Expect more and dont get hung up on daily runs to avoid heartache!
  5. Breezy with occasional stronger gust here in SE Essex - seems the worst of it still on its way...
  6. Anyone else lost sky signal sine circa 8pm. Dish has lots of wet snow on it.
  7. Still raining. Been more or less this weather round here for several months!
  8. So what do we need the models to show to shift some of that snow to se Essex?
  9. Seen hundreds of pilgrims flocking to se Essex area to witness the miracle they call "snow" for themselves.......
  10. My ruler must be broken, have been out to measure snow depth several times and it always reads as zero.
  11. Met office warning for snow tomorrow changed to ice. Se Essex really lucked out this time..
  12. Snowfall depth has more than trebled in ashingdon over last few hours, currently at an unbelievable 0mm........
  13. still heavy rain in Ashingdon.... Seen the odd flake, but mainly rain/sleet today.
  14. Agreed, based on latest outputs I am quietly confident that the Southend/Basildon area will be in the snow zone and have shots at snow for a number of days this week it seems. I'm in ashingdon so close enough to the sea I guess to be worried about coastal influence.....(which I'm not!)
  15. A right dumping here in Ashingdon, much better than I thought when I turned in last night. Must have been some heavy snow - wished I'd stayed up longer to see!
  16. Steady snow in ashingdon although three likely lads just seen trying to shovel all the snow away. I can categorically deny that the three culprits were in fact WIB, Shedhead and Ian Brown, although two were seen wearing hoodies with Atlantic dominance logo's and one was just wearing a t shirt (hardy soul), which had modern written on the front and winter on the rear.........
