    Been awake since silly o’clock (probs about 2am) just listening out and checking MO snowflakes forecast on repeat! Finally moved out of bed to a covering of a couple of cm here too (Solihull - close to the airport) Just hoping to get a good few more before it moves on

    Heading over Beeley Moor / Matlock way tomorrow, any ideas how it could be looking for the weekend from anyone over that way? Crossing everything for a dumping (not likely I know) but even just a splattering would be pretty cool too ️ Cheers

    Chill out tent was looking very chilled earlier! (loved it so much in lockdown last year I kept it ) Another positive of this weather is that I don’t need a bar fridge in the porch although roof snow melted really quickly as I admit my oil filled radiator makes it pretty cosy in there

    As much as I love extreme weather I’m really hoping it eases soon. Got to get my daughter to school for 3.30am as she is on a trip to Iceland flying out in the morning Don’t think I’m going to be getting much sleep tonight

    Nice to see the familiar names (I would say faces but have no clue what you all look like!) are still here. Here's hoping we get the wintry stuff moving in really soon! Looking forward to riding that 'will it won't it' rollercoaster with you all again this winter

    Will do. I've left the heating on in the Living room so might venture into there in a bit! Got to be warmer than in this bedroom ? Fingers crossed we all get what we want when we get up this morning

    I've come down to my caravan just outside Stratford Upon Avon. Windows are starting to ice up inside...I'm freezing but it's worth it to see the snow starting to build up outside across the fields. Wondering what it's like back home in Solihull! Hard to judge depths and intensity at the moment because it's too dark (I have no lamp posts to watch down here ) and I'm too cold to get out of bed but it's definitely looking white out there!
