  1. Indeed. I've been the last 6 years and I think I've experienced every condition possible. Last year was particularly bad underfoot. Never ruined it for me though!
  2. And here's me thinking it was going to be plain sailing!
  3. Looking pretty steady this. Am I on the right forum?! ;-)
  4. Cheers J10. Do we think the run up is going to remain quite dry?
  5. Let the suspense begin! Surely we're due a dry one. Last year was really really muddy!
  6. Apparently it has now stopped. Bring on the big dry out!
  7. I know the ground looks wet today but it dries quick and the forecast is for it to be dry between now and kick off. Then the amount of rain forecast during the festival is also minimal. The mudbath years of 2007 and 2005 were because of persistent rain throughout the festival. The odd downpour is managed with ease.
  8. To be honest, I'd rather this be the prospect than it being really hot. There isn't much shade at Glastonbury and sleeping in a tent when the sun comes up at 5am is pretty much impossible. Some cloud cover, not too hot in the day and cool over night is ideal. If it rains a touch to get that result, I wont be too fussed.
  9. That's a shame! :o( Thanks for your efforts so far though.
  10. Cheers mate. Up in the air as usual! When will you start to do your mud bath/dust bowl rating?
  11. Brill. Been waiting for this thread to start. Bring on the tension!
  12. Great work and weather not looking too bad at all.
  13. A few more reports coming out now that its going to be a mostly dry festival. Lets see what the next update brings.........
  14. This would be close to ideal. Means we can sleep in our tents in the morning without being baked and also means we don't get rained on all the time. I like you, johnholmes, I like you a lot.
