Keep watching his forum with interest but just how long do we have to wait for anything to verify with regard to Snow , Many of you seem to trust these models with little success, not sure I would buy a product that produced the correct result very rarely , Anyway looks like we might finally be onto something or is there a chance that once again we will be disappointed by daily downgrades to cold rain !

what happened to Sundays SNOW , yet again another wrong predication by most , i just dont get it why can t they get it more accurate

exactly , it would appear a T168 chart rarely verifies and a T240 from whatever source never verifies , if they are always wrong , then you would think that over time they would improve . they clearly are a waste of time and maybe why the BBC stopped doing forecasts more than T120

far better than 240s that's for sure

no egg on face to be honest one wrong call compared to loads of the other models

the beeb never tend to mention anything unless they have a good degree of confidence they have been spot on all winter so why would we discount it now , Never ramp it up

Can you view the individual members? The updated debilt ensembles don't look too bad to me. Control run looks interesting. as if a 240 ever verifies

gotta give you boys credit , for hanging in there with T168s , snow predicted again , how many times can a promise be made.....

so todays upgrade is at T168 rather than T240 FI so how much more likely is it or is it just another R Herring . I ask again how can supposed weather model computers be so srong so often , if I made this many mistakes in my job I would have been super duper down a long time ago , so lets hope for once they are correct

Ive been watching this thread for about 3 months now and what I always fail to understand almost without exception cold weather is promised at 240+ and hardly ever arrives , so it seems that basically the models assume it winter so it will be cold ! they rarely predict what actually happens , or am I being to synical , non the less its still fascinating ,

keep an eye on that radar signs of clouds building to the SW and mid wales , just had a heavy snow shower under no clouds !!!!

So radar suggests its no over till the Cheshire cheese is all eaten , moving direct Nth - Sth now its game on for some white grass

the next hour or so will tell us more , it appears to have complete stalled at it climbs the peaks , just need it to roll back now and with the wind from the SE surely this is possible

cant crack it in South Cheshire , let hope the Irish sea can pep up the PPN after dark !!!
