    I'm willing the Kent storms over to the Surrey Hills, just hope they've got enough oomph left in them when they get here. (Yy, I know I'm being greedy but daytime storms are a bit of a waste, IMO. Lightning looks so much better at night)

    Is there a chance that the monster in N. France will hop over the channel? I'd love to see a nighttime storm.

    We're up on the hill, Coulsden and Purley had flash floods (they're in the Bourne valley and over an underground river).

    Blue skies and birdsong for me now in Sanderstead. That's after the epic storm between 2 and 3, I've been teaching my son to calculate the storm proximity by counting elephants :-)
