  1. Latest gfs showing heavy snow for North Northumberland at 1500hrs tomorrow. Shame the front is not arriving overnight as looks very marginal for most of us. Lovely crisp day today with everything frozen solid.
  2. Maybe some snow showers for those close to the coast over the next few days. I would imagine places like Scarborough could get a covering.
  3. Fingers crossed its not too marginal on Tuesday. Hopefully some surprises might pop up this evening or tomorrow when the colder air comes in
  4. This cold spell has been better than any last winter for this part of the world. Shame it turns milder with wind and rain tomorrow. Lovely day today in the snow and everything has frozen solid again now under partially clear skies.
  5. I think areas on the immediate coast could be very marginal tonight unfortunately, im expecting a sleety mix. A few miles inland and with some elevation could be okay.
  6. Bit disappointing that we only got a slight dusting last night. Depth of cold is very impressive with everything frozen solid all the way to the beach. Just need a good covering and this cold spell will have been a good one. Not holding up too much hope for snow tomorrow morning but fingers crossed.
  7. Berwick getting some good showers and nothing marginal about tonight it appears. Fingers crossed they continue south and give us all a covering.
  8. Looking good for the whole region from around 2100hrs onwards. Some beefy showers heading our way. I'm expecting a covering for most by the morning.
  9. Radar looking lively, could see some back edge snow but won't amount to much. Nice to have some colder air and clear skies over the next few days
  10. Lovely day but bitter in that wind. If this is the last cold spell of the winter i won't be too disappointed. I would rate this spell 6/10 as although it delivered around 4 inches of snow and there were some impressive cold temperatures it could have been so much better in terms of snow depth. However compared to last winter this winter has been brilliant if a little marginal at times. Enjoy the cold today and tomorrow.
