  1. Hi Ross B, Thank you for your reply. The Replacement temperature/humidity board for Vantage Pro2 and original Vantage Pro with seperate SIM housing systems that's on ukweathershop.co.uk is the direct replacement (thank you). Not convinced that fitting a replacement ISS PCB is a good idea though unless heavily lacquered with PCB lacquer. Like the Avatar by the way.
  2. Hi, Interesting discussion. I've tried to import Davis Instruments parts from the US however no company that I'd contacted would ship UK specification weather stations (or parts) to the UK due to the fact that they're not allowed to source UK specification weather stations or parts from Davis Instruments themselves. Whilst I'd prefer to buy from the UK it's frustrating how much cheaper the kit is in the US and that's with import duty and VAT added. Kind Regards.
  3. Hi, Does anyone know where a replacement Davis VP ISS circuit board can be sourced from (U.K. specification) as mine has died. Temperature has been over-reading and upon closer inspection this afternoon the components on the circuit board are quite badly corroded. Am almost certain that the circuit board is beyond economical repair as the PCB itself is showing signs of damage due to being exposed to the elements. Was not fortunate enough to buy the newer version of Davis VP ISS which I understand has a fully enclosed circuit board stopping damage caused by the elements. Just my luck to have missed the change-over. No doubt all of the fog that the U.K. has been under for several days now hasn't helped the problem with components corroding. Really cannot afford to buy a complete new weather station as bought additional kit for existing VP. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you. Kind Regards.
