  1. First big gust here in Montrose. Thankfully have nothing to do tomorrow, think I’ll try stay up and see how this plays out
  2. Would be 2010 for me.. I was 13 years old, terrified of thunder. Experienced my first thundersnow on the 28th. If it wasn't for that day, I probably would never have got over my fear. I also remember I got a free trial of some lightning tracking software a few days before, didn't think I'd actually get the chance to try it out, but yep.. Loved storms ever since!
  3. What a fantastic long weekend.. This summer has been amazing, but working outdoors 5 days a week with no escape gets tiring rather quickly. Loving these cooler temperatures. Can’t wait to actually want to wear my cozy clothes!
  4. Quite exciting following this. I'm NE Scotland (Arbroath) right on the coast. Might need to get the camera out down near the harbour!
  5. What a difference a day can make! Arbroath at 2pm (7th) vs arbroath at 7pm (8th). Plus a few more from the 8th. The hill behind our house was busy with people on their sleds. Had a wee go myself, spent more time on my face than the board but oh well received_1550357735157968.mp4
  6. Snow shield working well. Had my hopes up earlier. Nothing since my last post, how typical!! Not giving up hope just yet. The wind is bitter up here looking out over the sea!! (Lunan Bay, Angus)
  7. Took the long drive home (Arbroath to Lunan Bay, via Friocheim). Frequent showers of actual dry snow, nice covering on most of the roads.
  8. It's really been trying since the early hours here in Arbroath, just not quite there yet.
  9. No change up here in Arbroath, still hammering down and very gusty. (18m asl)
  10. Hi there, sorry to bring this back from the dead. That guide on Google Docs was very helpful - is there any more information like that available? I'm a complete novice and would love to learn more. Thanks, Jordan.
  11. Been pretty wild up here (Angus NE Scotland, on the coast) Lots of trees down around the back roads.
