    Defo! The GFS seems to be blowing up this Atlantic like there is no tomorrow as well as the heights not as strong over Greenland. The GFS can behave and sort its self out on the 12z.

    Here's one of the perturbations which would cause quite an amazing divide in 850 temps + precip type over England (perturbation 20) Southampton in Rain whilst Sheffield gets a dumping of snow

    Quite a noticeable feature is that at (+72) the ECM UKMO GEM JMA go off in this direction... And the lovely (not so lovely) GFS goes this way...

    No professional but seems to be that the typhoon building in the Pacific is causing a lot of grief for the outcome of these charts ?!
