  1. Pathe News music is quite apt! How it used to be in the 80's................. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GGqdV9A0Zns
  2. You may want to head to SICILY of all places for lots of snow this weekend!!!!..................
  3. www.express.co.uk/news/uk/442873/Coldest-winter-in-modern-times-on-way-with-snow-forecast-for-Britain-starting-next-week Comical!
  4. Exactly...........Look at this from 31/12/78............. Even London was buried............
  5. What has happened to TEITS? Noticed he has not posted since August! Loved his optimism every winter for an 80's style Scandinavian high described as "The Beast from the East"!
  6. Ukraine chaos......................http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=URHLSNbG2_E
  7. Been snowing here since 9am & is still coming down. Over the last hour or so the snow area over the southern North Sea has really intensified. Will the area over East Anglia intensify as well?
  8. Heavy snow sticking to everything here in Clophill Bedfordshire. Intensity has allowed dew points to drop. If this keeps up all afternoon there will be chaos on the roads later.
  9. Been snowing quite heavily in Mid Bedfordshire for about an hour but has only just started to settle as the snow gets more intense.
  10. Matthew Hugoâ€@MattHugo81 @HRPickle - Perhaps a little snow overnight into Mon, but main risk comes on Tue/Wed, could be some decent snow showers in E Anglia.
  11. SPOT ON! Too many people on this thread look for problems/breakdowns/upgrades in F1 that never happen. I'd give anything to go back to the early 80's when on monday morning you would wake up to 1ft of snow followed by weeks of sub zero temperatures without the weeks/days of prior F1 analysis.
  12. That's one hell of a snowfall and one of the best photos so far this winter giving a lasting image of how heavy the snowfall of the winter 2010-11 has been. It looks more like the Alps. I take it that nearby Aviemore is not lacking in snowfall LOL?!
