It’s really calm and still here at the moment. Even had a few spots of sunshine coming through.
You wouldn’t believe that there’s a big area of low pressure over you right now if you looked outside the window.
BBC Weather have tweeted that the track of the storm is still uncertain and that it could affect different areas compared to what is expected.

With all these tropical depressions hitting the US, what are the chances they’ll eventually be deflected our way and bring copious amounts of rain with it?
It’d be very unusual if this did come off for Central areas to be the wettest place in the country! Normally it’s the North West which suffers from this but of course it’s all dependent on the position of this low.
Lovely and sunny here today. Plenty and blue skies and a moderate breeze to moderate temperatures. It’s been sunny since this morning here. You guys must be really unlucky down south.
I really don’t get BBC Weather graphics usage - one hour of light rain with the rest being sunny/sunny intervals yet they choose to make the overview of Monday a light rain graphic? Misleading much.
I’m confused - some people are saying warmer and settled weather with little rain forecast whereas others are saying a brief warm up before returning to cooler and more unsettled conditions. Which one is it?
Looks like this plume will be a ‘blink and you’ll miss it’ affair. Slightly warmer temperatures after although unsettled weather will still be firmly in charge.
