  1. I'm so sorry if this is the wrong place to ask but I have a problem I'm hoping you might be able to help me with. On Saturday 13th June, we had a thunder storm and a sudden torrential downpour. This brought down some tiles from my roof. I've tried to make a claim from my insurance but they state there were "no storm conditions present" at that time. To qualify the rainfall rate would have to have been 25mm per hour. I feel certain it was at least that heavy, but as the storm was very localised it seems it's not showing up on their system. Would you be able to point me in the right direction to find out the rainfall rate at the time so I can see if I have any grounds to dispute the rejection? I realise I'm unlikely to convince them but I have a massive bill to fix the roof and I'm going to struggle to find the money! Any help would be really appreciated.
