Snow started again here and getting darker

Can’t see out of some of the windows this morning I see the Easterly wind kicked in and worked it’s magic.It’s been a long time since I have seen the side of the house and windows covered

Not a bad effort up to now in north Sheffield easy over 12cm and on the tops much more and signs it’s starting to drift . It’s going to be interesting to see if this does carry on through the night , and it’s just starting to get a little more heavy again

Warning now kicked in and the snow has definitely got more heavy and started to cover roads,including main roads

Died down a little earlier but definitely starting to pick up again now,does the wind come next to Flakes definitely getting bigger again

Or possibly just a little let up Over 8 cm in north Sheffield easy now and main event isn’t meant to start until at 3pm, look west on the radar

Possibly so and big difference from area to area Definitely wouldn’t give up yet tho but I would say further west is best . Easy over 7cm here in north Sheffield now and possibly later comes the really heavy stuff and wind

Very similar in north Sheffield it’s really starting to build up and stick to everything.The washing line is starting to sag I wonder if any power lines will go down later,with how it’s sticking to the washing line currently

Steady snow falling in north Sheffield 7 cm on the bin and the amber warning not even kicked in yet. it’s going to get interesting if the wind picks up later as the snow will blow easy
