  1. Radar isn’t currently working but there appears to be some squally looking showers heading north of Derby
  2. Very localised heavy shower formed over Lincoln an hour ago. It was like someone turned on a shower for about 2 mins then turned straight off.
  3. Finally finished compiling footage from last summer. Weak little storm from August and then the night time stuff from September. Not a bad convective year to be honest. Let’s hope for more bangers in 2024!
  4. 40c in Doncaster during July 2022. I’ve experienced mid 30s in Croatia and France before, but it felt so bizarre being that hot in Yorkshire.
  5. Just got clipped by this squall, really intense winds and torrential rain for a few minutes
  6. I may as well jump on the train of video posting. This is just a compilation of storms from June and July, they’re all a bit tame apart from July 8th but my brother recorded it instead because I was away. I’ve got some time from uni at the moment so I’m cooking up 2 more videos.
  7. Definitely have to be lucky with them, fizzled to a fart up here when it went over. To get lightning is definitely a plus as winter squalls usually aren’t conducive.
  8. Been a very interesting end to the year with all the country wide convective activity, thunderstorms and tornadoes.
  9. Just reading YouTube comments on the news coverage of the Manchester tornado will actually lower your iq. People screaming ‘this isn’t a tornado’ and ‘weather manipulation’, like just do a bit of research mate!
  10. It’s quite faint but it’s definitely lightning, my first time seeing it in December. MAH01343.mov
  11. I’m pretty sure this was the snowfall (from the 11th). I randomly screenshot the radar if it looks interesting and I just so happened to have that one
  12. The River Whitham is pretty full this morning.
  13. Yeah probably, odd rumble of thunder here and there. I’m not really in a state to record any video at the moment to be honest so I should really get some sleep instead
  14. Some strikes recorded so it may continue to throw down some more. I’ll charge the camera in case
  15. Large anvil and mammatus on the showers to the south east of Doncaster
  16. Interesting skies after the front passed over. Might be some mammatus in there as well
  17. Nice 20 degrees in Lincoln this afternoon. Very pleasant autumn day.
  18. I swear I saw some asperitas clouds out the window in my lecture, but now I’ve gone outside they’re gone.
  19. Not sure what species of tree this is but my neighbour’s are going red. They’re usually gone by late October.
