    MOD thread is a great read but always worth backing up with Metoffice or Beeb. They’ve been slightly ahead with the turn to less cold for Christmas/boxing day for most of the country.

    MOD thread is so aggressive at times. Viewing as an outsider the “I told you so” comments and conflict of views makes it daunting at times for new members. Anyway, if in doubt always turn to the professional forecasters who currently still show seasonal weather for the festive period. ‘Tis the season of good will. Merry Christmas all.
