  1. GFS 6z op looks off the rails..... hopefully. .. nothing great though, unsettled.
  2. There's no escape on the ECM 12z, deep low still over the UK next Monday. Dire.....PS you can see what I've been searching from the ad lol.
  3. I know the EC46 likes to suddenly flip at short notice, so I'd take this with a heavy pinch of salt but it has lower pressure out to the west and south west for the whole of April.
  4. My goodness, lets hope that GFS18Z is an outlier because its absolutely dreadful.
  5. Well, the GFS 18z is aligning with the rest for a miserable week next week.
  6. KTtom Been watching the models for a while as I go on a cruise on Easter day and that trough just seems so locked on.
  7. That trough out to the west looks locked on for Easter weekend. Depressing output.
  8. Ok,ok had enough of winter and the wind and rain. Can we get to the spring and summer now? Was there rain warnings out for today? There's been some amount fallen here's lots of local flooding. Wind hasn't been anything special though.
  9. Police Scotland advising not to travel unless necessary
  10. Calmed down quite a bit now here, maybe still a bit blustery but certainly no "roaring" anymore. Wow, what a storm! Dread to think what the damage is, know of quite a few trees down because of social media. Crazy to think there's another one coming in,in a day here!
  11. The terrain limiting winds is such an interesting phenomenon. I live on an elevation but my actual street is at the bottom of a hill. My house is fairly sheltered ,I can hear the roaring in the distance a few streets away but it's *relatively* calm around me. Would be an interesting study to do as to how it works locally.
  12. 84mph in central Scotland near the M8. https://twitter.com/SeanBattyTV/status/1749208220512510231?s=19
