So much going on as the models swing attempting to pin down the weather over Christmas and still plenty of time for more changes. The chance of a nice seasonal Christmas is on the cards followed by something far more wintery as we head through January. Plenty to be positive about for those of a cold persuasion

A much better nights sleep last night, a few beers in the 19th after golf helped Have woken up to a cloudy much cooler more comfortable morning here. As much as I do love much of what summer offers, I'm almost already looking forward to the shortening days and coolness of Autumn and the excitement, often misplaced, of what winter might offer. Have a good, cooler day all.

Good morning fellow heat haters. It was an uncomfortable night here in South Glos to say the least. I reckon I've managed three hours kip at most. Fortunately I've a few days off work so going to hit the golf course early before the heat builds up again. Anyway one more sweltering day to get through and then more pleasant weather on the way for this part of the world and It can't come soon enough

Here in South Glos we're expecting temperatures in the high 30's so I'm off for an early round of golf. Stay cool everyone

I've just opened all the doors and windows in the house and have some lovely cool air blowing through at the moment. I'll leave them open until about 9am then close everything and draw all the curtains. I know the house will still get warm later but this will hopefully help make it more manageable. Please don't forget to put bowls of water out for the creatures we share this planet with. It's been incredibly dry here the last few weeks. It's ok for us, we have water on tap, the animals don't.
