Bbc forecast was rubbish. No snow overnight and marginal until you get above m4 in Wales across the south east tomorrow

The metoffice for my location have sleet/rain for tomorrow here which is a little at odds of many other models. Who knows till the low arrives. Someone's in for a pasting I reckon

I wouldn't trust the gfs at short range 48 hours. UKMO MOGREPS and ECMWF more accurate from experience. Looks like an interesting 24 hours or so before it gets washed away. Lampost watching ha ha

this is one of those nowcast situations - where we wont know the exact sweetspots until the low actually gets here and we see the trajectory. All exciting stuff lol

Too warm here at the minute and the hills are also not white round here so will be looking towards Wednesday

The only caveat is a channel low is so fickle that even 20-30 mile movement can change everything. However, nice to see one as they are rare as rocking horse poo lol

the cold front is migrating its way south from Scotland - the colder air will be behind that front
