    UKMO 48 FAX Note the 528 behind the front, should be OK for snow showers after the rain clears through, but who knows, I will be radar watching the front anyway as sometimes the gods do smile upon us.

    UKMO +72 shows the first front pushing through with the 528 DAM line ahead of the occluded front following. Looks good to me.

    Only bright side about the ECM op this morning (and ICON) is it has given me chance to update my schadenfreude (ignore) list. I think I will go enjoy my Saturday and then come back for the 12z and see where we're at then.

    The odd big flake mixed in. You can see on the radar the cold air undercutting. Splendid stuff.

    Cold enough Stu, cold enough. I can't quite believe the charts that are rolling out tonight, if Steve Murrs sausage could paint, this is what it would paint. Quite remarkable.

    Yeah, but i'm trying to work out if it will turn to rain, it's not terribly heavy so we cant rely on evaporative cooling so much. Either way it's a bonus shot.

    Mate, this cold spell could eclipse anything we've seen for twenty years... just like pulling teeth to get there. I expected nothing but rain today, and at least there is leading edge.. now if would just anchor up a bit we might be in business.
