Would be interesting to know home many storms each place had reported. There maybe not much between some of the airports.

Hi People I am also thinking about getting a weather station. Not sure if you've got your weather station yet Andy but I've found a site that has a list of stations: http://www.ukweathershop.co.uk/acatalog/la...ogy_ws_sub.html Could anyone give any more advice as to which is the best or best value weather station? Some on the link above are a little cheaper and maybe of better value. Also I've found if you do a search in google you can find the same weather station for less. Might save a bit of money:)

Was snowing quite nicely from about 7:45 but now has stopped in Swindon.

This is the classic case of everywhere gets snow as long as you're 2 miles out of Swindon. Its dry now. Hasn't been any snow for a few hours and there's no snow on the ground. But looking at the hills arounds Swindon they are white:(

Its startde to snow again here is Swindon.

Well what had started to settle is now metling and what was falling has now almost stopped.

Its starting to settle here now. This must be the longest single period of snowfall since 1991.

I can’t believe I’m saying this, its still snowing in Swindon but not settling
