Today at 2:00 scout, beavers and cubs from all over peterborough area got together and celebrated St Georges day in peterborough cathedral. The service was 120 minutes long. Thorney cubs only had 4 children and 1 supervisor, the beavers (thorney) had more than I could count really. to be honest the service was a bit loud because we had to sing happy birthday to the queen. I carried the flag for thorney cubs group and I spoke to the mayor of peterborough he was glad we came.

Thorney Cots the Winners of the league has beat coates 1-1. James Barton scored a wonderous goal from a corner, coates came back with a goal of there own by there number 5. Thorney colts have won the league but still have 1 match to go against Park farm. Thorney colts number 5 did not play to day because of a very unfortunate accident in training. Both keepers played very well, and both teams had lots of supporters coates Scored there goal in the second half, Thorney in the first half. It was a fair match but both teams was shattered but Thorney sprayed all their drinks at each other.
