    The Ocean’s Carbon Balance EARTHOBSERVATORY.NASA.GOV The amount of carbon dioxide that the ocean can take from the atmosphere is controlled by both natural cycles and human activity. Unfortunately not.. This is good article that explains the process.

    Wonder if the top of the Cotswolds will see any? Certainly high enough. Cold -3.8.C in winchcombe this morning and just got an update from my Mum. -6C in Pershore.. that is cold for so early in the season

    Twice. 13/14th Jan a covering for a day and then wet snow shower last sunday which didn't amount to anything

    Staying in NW5 near the Heath in Dartmouth Park and it's been snowing on and off all day.. Grass has about 1-2cm covering.. Tempo has not risen about 0.8C all day.. Currently exactly 0.C .. Quite respectably for london in March..

    Plenty of snow - difficult getting around TBH but I had more in 2010 and lower temps but what is remarkable is that temps haven't been above freezing since 16th Jan.

    Bring on the Cotswold snow machine.. I've got my xcountry skis out and waxed. Wonder if Ill beat my 49cm depth of 2010? Overnight lo of -4.7C currently -3.2C.

    -8.2C here already which is the same as last night low.. I'm going for the double (figure) that is.

    -8.2C this morning.. Was quite surprised for it to be so low. Think my elevation and being in the NE of the cotswolds stand me in good stead for a blanket.. Will it last not sure but I reckon the cold weather will reload mid week.
