    Quick question to any one that knows my area (between Bognor/brighton).. have we seen the worst yet as been out and missed most of this..

    Are those last three images for today because if so it's showing snow a fair bit further west than the sky and bbc forcasts ive just seen. Hope they are right!!

    After seeing a few snow graphs it looks like the snow stops at Brighton, im about 20 miles west on the coast, does any snow tomorrow look out the question?

    This is not bad at all for an area right on the south coast that looked to be getting no snow.. about 2cms but we were lucky to be under a red blob an hour ago. The snow has only just stopped.

    Wind has picked up a fair bit the last hour and i believe the worst is yet to have hit..?

    I thought just infront and as it hits, i remember at the start of the year one came through around 4/5am and the intesinty of the wind and horrizontal rain coming down had my heart thumping as it really did look and feel like a tornado was blowing through my road!

    just had a short short followed by what i swear was a distant rumble on my neck of the south coast, the last few replys seem to confirm this, hoping for some better as have been in a storm gap the last few years! edit: short shower! cant edit posts on my phone.:s

    Been quite for a while now but im just happy to have my first storm of the year. Weve had so little lightning the last few years ill take anything!

    Its chucking down now and just seen a fork to my north, dont think ive had a proper nighttime storm in years!!

    For the last ten mins ive been seeing lightning and hearing thunder not to far out to sea, anyone else??

    I'm not sure if the strongest winds have reached our part of the coast yet? The wind has got fierce here in the half hour!

    I'm currently in a hospital bed in Brighton with a nice window view looking out the the east, would really love a light display tonight to end this boredom!

    Me neither the closest posters I've seen on here before have been bog or and Worthington residents. It for quite heavy there but judging by the radar won't long long, here's to the rest of the night!
