  1. 7.1 followed by a 7.4 followed by an 8.0, not sure I can remember 3 big to great earthquakes in such close proximity
  2. Gornal offers some incredible views alongside those shopping trolleys though, you also get that incredible chippy off the roundabout
  3. Seems to be edging slowly NW, really heavy rain but no thunder
  4. Biblical rain in East Wolves, wind has changed from Westerly to Easterly and now Southernly,
  5. There's a storm is South Staffs right now to the NW of Brum
  6. Just looked outside my rear window, never seen anything like it, constant thunder in the distance
  7. NW radar showing rain over Wolverhampton for a while, not a drop is reaching the floor, not sure if it's evaporating on the way down.
  8. 5 Jet2 flights en route to Spain have turned around over France and are heading back to the UK, has Spain closed it's borders?
  9. Indeed, I am not having the numbers from America, cannot be anywhere near accurate.
  10. So the US has 137 reported cases with 11 deaths, what's peoples thoughts, is this a sign that there's a 100s of unreported cases or is this an anomaly based on the care home being very unlucky?

  13. And try de-icing your car once it's sat under freezing rain, ice scraper just scratches the surface, hammer and chisel would be more suitable.
  14. I remember it from 2004 i think when it fell over Birmingham, people spent the night on the Aston Expressway because cars couldn't get up the slip roads, same at Broad St, cars stuck on the 5 ways underpass. Nothing more guaranteed to grind roads to a halt then freezing rain.
  15. You'll forgive us if we don't shed too many tears for you Paul?
  16. M5 is partially blocked between J1 and J2, down to 1 lane due to flooding in lanes 1 and 2.
  17. Is there any chance of having Birmingham more clearly marked on the map - you have to zoom right in to locate it which is a pain when trying to take an overview of a wide area. Given it's the second largest city in the country if would make it a lot more user friendly to those of us in the West Mids. thanks
  18. Had 1 strike of lightening to the north west of Birmingham Airport, - hope for those in Derby I would suggest
  19. I'm sure it's the train station roof at Manchester Airport that's damaged rather than the airport itself.
  20. Judging from it's direction of travel looks like it's diverting, no idea where to though
  21. Emirates flight from Dubai has just aborted a landing at Manchester, looks like it's currently looping around for another attempt.
