  1. Use ISO100 and largest possible apeture, focused on infinity(and beyond) that way you should get less pixel noise. Happy snapping
  2. Evening all, Hot off the press, these shots taken within the last hour, looking towards Bristol Airport from a country lane near Yatton, storm fizzled out but I can still see stuff over the channel, Newport area. Dave
  3. Wonderful Pics, how do you manage to get the sky exposed correctly without losing the low-lights on the ground?, some kind of dynamic range extending software or a expensive camera? or perhaps you know what you're doing and I don't.. Cheers Dave
  4. This cloud formation was reported on our local news as a funnel, there was definate rotation in the lowered cloud structure.
  5. Hi everyone, My first attempt at posting pics so hope this works, I was near Failand this afternoon just south west of Bristol when this storm rolled by, frequent lightning and definite rotation in the lowered base (I've tried to upoad an animated gif of the storm to demonstrate this) comments welcome Regards Dave
  6. Hello everyone, Here's my first effort (and my first ever post) taken last week sometime around 5am, of the hundred or so shots taken only this one came out. Regards Mr S
