  1. Heres a reminder of the last snow fall we had here on March 2006.
  2. The snowfall here is definately the best since March 2006 however the amount of sow we got that night was amazing, well over a foot I would say. I dont think tonight is going to match that total but saying that it snowed for about 12h back in March whereas I dont think tonight will go on for quite that length of time.
  3. Gettting heavier although the snow is still fairly fine.
  4. Near Milngavie. Its very light right now but gradually getting heavier. The snow is also very fine.
  5. Its snowing here now in the North West of Glasgow.
  6. Its snowing in Glasgow now. It had been raining for the past few hours though.
  7. ALthough there is going to a thaw tommorow but it shouldnt be too bad with more cold weather and snow for next week.
  8. Didnt see any snow in Glasgow today or any falling for that matter.
  9. Some years it can early as mid September and some right at the end of October but normally it has snowed somewhere by Mid October. But the snow doesnt last that long. A day at most because the soil is still warm.
  10. 13C in Glasgow today and rain most of the day.
  11. I've experienced temperatures up to 46C in Eilat in Israel and I'll tell you its not nice being out for long in those sorts of temperatures. But its dry heat so you dont sweat that much and it isnt that bad when your sitting in the shade. Although you have to drink constantly and you just feel energy being sapped away from you. On the plus side it makes 30C feel cold. But you have to comfortable in temperatures of around 35C first before you want to go to one of these places or else its just too much to cope with coming straight from the UK.
  12. Went to cuba last year in June. Your at the end of the dry season so I expect it to be mostly dry but there could be some thunderstorms. It is very humid and hot and the sun is very strong there.
  13. Well going by the figures for Glasgow Airport the temperature is 0.8C below average. So maybe on a wider picture the temperature for Scotland could be above average but local places like Glasgow are recording below average temperatures.
  14. Nah all the snow that fell two days ago metled. Infact it was pretty much gone by nighfall on the day it fell. Snow this late in June on the mountains is fairly unusual but it doesnt make a difference to the snow patches that are left.
  15. There could be more snow coming this weekend as well.
