I will never forget one evening after several days of freezing fog it started snowing with the fog only slowly clearing. I have never understood how that could happen.
Cold Spell? Total non-event for lowland Scotland. Neither Perth (where I live) nor Dundee (where I work) had a single snowflake! Lowest temperature of -4C on Thursday morning but most nights it hovered at +2C. What happened? :blink:
