  1. Been snowing for around an hour in Aylesbury. Very light and powdery but sticking on roads and pavements. Around 1cm deep. Duncan
  2. Snow moderate now. Dew point -0.8 and temp +0.3 have remained constant for past hour. Depth creeping up to 4.5cm
  3. Pretty heavy here now after 4 hours of light grain. Around 4cm.
  4. Very light snow now in Aylesbury. Nudging over 10cms. Very dry airy snow. Temp -0.2, Dewpoint -1.0, Pressure has been holding at 999 for the past 4 hours. Not sure what to expect the rest of the night as I'm on the periphery of precipitation on the radar. Looks like the next pulse northwards is veering further west. D.
  5. Constant light to moderate snow here in Aylesbury from around 20:00 tonight and still going. Around 4 inches outside in the garden. Temp at -0.1, dew point -0.8.
  6. Evening everyone. For once I'm hoping the snow doesn't arrive because I have to make a return drive to Heathrow - setting off at 6 a.m. Currently there is snow on the ground - 2-3 inches on grass and slushy rubbish everywhere else. Temperature has been holding at +0.8 for most of the evening. Dew point has been steadily rising and now sits squarely on 0 degrees.
  7. Temp here up to 3.2 degrees. Dew point 1.9 No precipitation at all now. Had light snow at 12:30 with temp at 2.3 degrees. I've got to drive to Heathrow tomorrow morning at 5:00am. Not looking forward to it given the forecast...
  8. Light sleety snow in Aylesbury at the moment. Temps up to 2.5. Hoping the cold air will start to move in from the north to stop the slow thaw.
  9. Interesting temp/dewpoint changes here 23:00 - Temp -0.1 Dew point -2.6 00:30 - Temp 0.6 Dew point -1.9 Now temp has dropped quickly to 0.2 and Dew point -1.5
  10. Looks good for tomorrow evening when the front comes over the channel. Hopefully we'll get a couple of inches overnight and during the day tomorrow to whet our appetites! Might take a walk up Coombe Hill - should be a bit wild on the top!
  11. Hi Jamie - just looked out the window because of your post! About time too!
