Winds really picking up now here in East Dorset with some quite violent gusts, but blue skies aswell, the perfect combination. The MetO had it correct for us with forecasting the strongest winds to be around midday today. Currently gusting 60mph

Quite Jealous of France!

Currently flying across the mid/northern atlantic on Flight Simulator with Real Time weather installed where the storm is building currently and the headwinds going to the usa are currently 170 knots (195.6mph) at 35000ft!! - Its quite bumpy and im glad it's not real life! The wind kept increasing the further west i move up to 200mph and my Boeing 777 couldn't cope with the headwind so i've had to turn back! lol

Nothing is final until it arrives!!!!!!!

At last, someone else with some sense 60 pages worth or more of people getting annoyed, being negative etc etc and people are finally coming to terms that now casting might be best! lol

Warnings back for just the south coast now for wind tomorrow.

Metoffice warnings for wind have now dissapeared for Thursday and Friday - only a threat of ice tonight!

Just wait til Thursday arrrgghh!!!! I love all this weather but i actually find it more frustrating with all the comments on here than the weather itself! - can't believe people put themselves through so much stress, just use common sense and wait until the day/day before! it's not rocket science! - Rant over!

Im no pro but my instinct tells me the south coast will get battered this Thursday/Friday. Pure guesswork no models/charts or anything looked at (as i tbh i don't really understand them too well). Will now wait and see what happens on Thursday

I find it quite amusing how people are so negative and getting annoyed all the time so early before each event throughout the year when the event is days away!! until the day, you can't predict or know anything for definite! - Just sit back, chill and stop getting worked up! wait til at least Thursday! Anyway, some hefty showers passing through now and the temperature is actually dropping down to 6.6c now from 7.5c a hour ago.
