Just incredible weather here - I've just recorded my hottest temp ever here at 29.2 degrees.

Astonishing weather today - just incredible. I am about half a mile from the sea here in Bangor and recorded my highest temperature ever today at 28.6C - so unusual for this location. The sea breeze kicked in at 3.30pm and sent the temp right back to 21 degrees by 4.30pm. Amazing to think that the highest temperature ever recorded here was just a few miles away!

Great pics @The Weather Watcher - I know Cairn Wood well! We didn't risk venturing out in the car - still plenty of snow for sledging in the park and building snowmen at home ! Great day

Yeah it's definitely been rubbish for us model watchers as there has been so much promise (much more than a normal winter) but very little delivery! For folk who don't study the weather models, it's probably been a fairly standard winter ! On the plus side, this week has been great for getting out of the house for walks - last week was dire with all that rain.
