  1. I live in N.Norfolk, not far from Wells Next The Sea, I experienced 92mph in 2003, and that was a bit blowy. I’m wondering just how close to that, we may get. Being close to 50 now, I remember 1987 well, the wind was like a freight train against our house. Im hoping we don’t get a repeat of it.
  2. I don't fancy my journey either, 28 miles on Mon afternoon to Norwich, then to Civic Drive in Ipswich for a 7pm start and 6am finish for the return journey!! Eeek
  3. Just entered, I found the ' How many time did Paul say Tornado' particularly difficult, but the entries in now, so squeaky bum time until the winner is announced. I can pretty much say that it'd be the trip of a lifetime for me.
  4. Do i hear the chinking of razor blades as some of us descend into despair at the appearance of the dreaded southwesterly in 8 days time? Seriously, what are the chances that it disapears on the next run? Then calm will descend... until the next time!! Loving the commentary by S Murr, WIB, and many others. I learn more and more each day. Keep it up and Happy New Year to all.
  5. Merry Xmas to everyone on Netweather, lets hope Santa brings you what you want PS, Models look fantastic this morning!!
  6. Heres a scene from the back garden. Here in Fakenham we got a good spell from the band that went through earlier on.
  7. Just took the dog for a walk here in Fakenham, N Norfolk, and there has been 4-5" generally and drifts above my wellies so about 16-20" drifts. It was very windy though last night, gusting above 45mph last night.
  8. It's really frustrating watching the radar update and not seeing much in the way of action in North Norfolk! I love the stormy summers nights, i just wish we'd get a piece of the action. There seems to be an invisible line around Norfolk preventing things moving eastwards
  9. It's snowing nicely here at the moment, the roads have now turned white and it's looking good!!
  10. Here in N Norfolk the snow started around 9am and it's continued to do so since. Yay
  11. Just having the first flurries of the day here in N.Norfolk, at last something to smile about.
