    Just got woke up by very loud thunder and lightning followed by very very strong winds and what looks like rain and hail in North Essex, now its just quietened right down. Lasted about 10-15 minutes, now to try get back to sleep!

    Not had much more than a 1cm here, and has now stopped snowing

    The path and the steps were clear, this was about 10 mins ago. Still snowing.

    It is still thundering and lightning over Halstead direction and still very dark. As for here in Hedingham, we had one heavy hail shower about 5:30ish which lasted about 5-10 mins and since then the storms have been rumbling around us.

    Just had a wander down the garden and the main road is clear at the moment, nothing settled at all on the road So you can still get to work

    Took this pic about 20 mins ago and this was the covering we had from about 15-20mins of snow, it looks like it is turning to sleet now

    The snow has also stopped here now, and it is quite slushy under foot on the paths.

    Have had fine snow for about the past couple of hours constant. But some of the previous snow has thawed.

    Took these pics about half hour ago, have had light snow for most of the evening.

    Just had a very light dusting, but it is really dark just to the north and we have blue sky again

    Had no snow here Has been sunny almost all morning, with hardly a cloud in sight.
