Reached a peak of 28c here in the leeds area... Clear skies at the moment....(managed to get all the washing dry outside this evening before those storms arrive tomorrow afternoon.....also managed to avoid the barbeque smoke on the washing tonight!!!) started off in Taverham - Norfolk with 29C by 11:20Am clear blue skies. Left there at 1:30pm and headed north, Kings Lynn the temp dropped to 22C with fast moving cloud rolling off the sea. Got to Lincoln at 3:15pm with a temp of 28C and clearing skies. Left there at 5:15pm with a temp at 27.2C but a more overcast sky. Got to Leeds at 6:45pm to temps of 27C but thundery looking clouds. Temp at 9:30pm wat 24C dropping a bit faster now and a light cool breeze has started so at least the house is cooler for sleeping !!! yippee!!! overcast but no sign of that thunder yet. EstEst

Taverham - Norfolk hit 29C at 11:20am with 40% humidity and pressure falling. By 3pm again it hit 30C not quite reaching the 33C of yesterday though. It is now 8:30pm and 26C with a humidity of 41% and pressure at 1014 and falling but has slowed up since yesterday, A light breeze now but perfectly clear blue skies no cloud. Has been forecast for storms tomorrow evening but ,drat, will miss those as heading back to leeds tomorrow!- Last report tonight from norwich. good bye East Anglia!!! :lol: EstEst

So Far i think Taverham just outside norwich has hit the highest temp with the staggering 33C.. will we see any higher???......My back and neck hope not! EstEst PS back in Leeds on tuesday...so last of the norwich reports tomorrow... EstEst

3pm in Taverham - Near norwich -temp was at 33C, humidity was 38% dropped to 25C at the coast - Lowestoft. Got back to Taverham at 6pm and was still 28C. Now 9:21pm and the temp here in Norfolk is 24C with 45% humitidy, pressure 1016mB falling. Very hot today in East Anglia, EstEst
