  1. Nice to see Everton mild ramping as usual, though he's usually right
  2. Well I haven't seen it either but a friend mine has and said it would turn colder by mid-week,and a widespread groundfrost is expected by thursday. We'll see anyway if it comes off.
  3. Yes I think our Rob sounded fed up with the mild weather, sounded annoyed when saying no frosts anywhere in the near future.
  4. Exceptionally mild, started raining about 10 minutes ago,it's expecting to last for some time.Temperature 15C,which is at least 2C above the average for the time of year.
  5. Another very mild week from the Midlands downwards,a bit cooler up north for a brief time this week. How exciting .Temperatures will constantly remain in the mid-teens throughout. There's a hint at temperatures going down to a more normal level by the end of the week but that could change easily and no doubt it will.
  6. Sounds a little like this year,a below average March but a very warm summer and autumn, hopefully November and December this year won't out like them that year.
  7. Indeed it has been a very long summer starting from the very start of June and we've still got summer like conditions at times now.It especially felt like summer again this afternoon.
  8. I mean since early September, because August was average,so it wasn't mild/warm for the time of year.So I'm exeggerating slightly. But yes it's been generally very warm since June.Desperate to see a colder countryfile forecast.Maybe next week's eh B)
  9. So basically yet another mild forecast. For at least the 10th week in a row now .
  10. Foggy start again which has now replaced but there's still low cloud. It was a chlly start but feeling mild again now with the temperature currently 14.0C.
  11. Well last year on christmas day it will still fairly mild here with a high temperature of 7C. The sharp but brilliant cold spell did'nt begin until Boxing day in my neck of the woods. In 2004 we did have some snowfall on christmas day but only late at night, and quite frankly I don't think that winter deserved snowfall on that day due to the mildness of that particular winter.Hopefully will see some proper snowfall on the big day this time around.
  12. Well I'll be delighted if it does in fact turn to be a cold winter. But it won't neccesarilly mean colder winters.Only last year did we have a average winter, which was colder than recent years but it was hardly a cold winter. The winter before was a very mild winter so I don't where you have got your "Winters have been getting colder for the past 3 years from".If the next 3 winters are colder than average then I will start to believe you but only time will tell.I must admit I'm a little more optimistic about this one than usual.
  13. I would certainly love that, and there's hints in the model it may happen, eventually. In the mean time,I feel that we could be in for yet another record breaking month unless the pattern changes sooner than I expect.
  14. Hmm,I'd personally settle for a repeat of last winter.I do it was a bit boring but it was nice to have an un-mild winter for a chance. We have to be realistic and take what we get thanks to global warming.
  15. A mostly cloudy but this afternoon there was a little more sunshine than expected, though it's cloudy again now.Top temperature was 16.8C and warm when out of those strong southerly winds!
