  1. Nice for swimming in the Med currently!
  2. SqueakheartLW Yes, any hope is welcome!
  3. Summer Sun Only way is up from now! Could we have reached the low point of the month?!
  4. Heat really building now, not looking forward to the weekend!
  5. To a point, was 1947 similar to 2013 in some ways, or 2018?
  6. raz.org.rain I think 2022 was the first time that 40C options first started appearing, but I think it was during summer 2019 when ridiculously warm charts started appearing, when folk at the time thought the models had malfunctioned?! @forester25 you beat me to it!
  7. Sunset still after 9.30pm here. Will be a while before the longer nights are noticeable!
  8. To be fair, it's more than a safe bet to 'assume' the coming winter won't be up to much (unless you like it mild!). However, you are correct in that it's way to early to write anything off!
  9. I quite like warm October days as there is something nice about being out in warm temperatures, but at the same time a weak sun!
  10. The fact that the models have played around with this scenario several times already this summer makes me think this could well occur before the end of the season!
  11. As I said earlier, perfect summers day today. A shame it's going to become very hot for the weekend!
  12. Almost perfect summers day here with clear skies and warm sunshine. Do not need 30C plus temperatures!
  13. Yes, it's getting to the point where we may as well be in Australia now when it comes to winter!
  14. Sunny start today and warmer.
