A beautiful clear sunny day here in Sunny Lowestoft. No wind, a truly wonderful morning.

Here in Lowestoft we have had a dramatic rise in temperature. Not more than 20 minutes ago my pond was frozen solid, now the ice has completely melted, and it has just started to rain. I know this probably isn't of any concern to the snow watchers, but I thought the weather experts might find the speed of this temperature change of some interest. My house overlooks the North Sea, so I don't know if this explains such a dramatic, and speedy change of conditions.

No snow here in Lowestoft, not a solitary flake. But we do have gale force winds.

Just back from our Boxing Day walk along the beach, and I can confidently confirm that it's chilly. Below is a pic I took of the sea continuing to smash to pieces the old seawall.

Just got back from the beach and it is incredibly mild this morning. No breeze to speak of, and sea very calm. Great thing is you don't even need a coat.

Incredibly mild here this morning. Just been for a walk along the beach and I made the mistake of wearing a heavy coat and came back sweating. Amazing weather for this time of year. Lovely

We did our annual Christmas charity swim in the North Sea today, it almost felt like we were cheating as it was so mild.

Went for a lovely walk this evening and took this pic just as the sun was going down. It's been a very nice day here in Sunny Lowestoft.
