  1. SEE MY POST BELOW Hi guys, 6 Inch of snow today in hatfield. Absolutley amazing and I am thrilled....... Dont care if it doesnt snow again this winter... Today makes up for that.... Last time I remeber snow like that was the 90's. Anyway Attention for the guys in North London and home counties. There is currently a band of heavy Precip moving eastwards or NE along the M4 Corridor!! once this hits N London home counties.... Could we see another hour of snow???? YES i think we could. It may be wet snow but as it settles on snow coverd ground it shouldnt melt.. See Below: Taken from meteo24 radar it shows the predicted time of where the precip will be at 3pm, Notice its approaching NW N London, into herts..... http://www.meteo24.com/uk/index.php?q=radar

  4. Yeah im just a few miles down the A1... Good old hatfield... The reason why im quite confident is that i stopped at a highways agency depot this morning on the way to work and asked if they were expecting snow Thurs.... Yes i know they thought i was insane lol. Well they said they have every gritting lorry out in herts wed night and all the guys on emergency standby thurs morn with a couple of inches forecast.... Well that was good enough for me,, better then any model. Im glad i went and asked though, felt very embarrased... lol
  5. Theres no way stevenage will miss out. Even if you get a couple hours of heavy snow before turning to rain/sleet. Expect the 12z to fall back in line again. In my opinion, aslong as you live north of the M4, you will see snow, whether its for 2hrs or the whole day. Actually i even think central southern england will see a period of snow early hours Thurs, but will turn to rain mid morning. Anyway as i say, its only my opinion.
  6. Tbh the 06z likes reapeating this senario over the past few days. I would probably put money on that the snow line will be back over southern counties on the 12z
  7. UKMO +48 Shows channel low, giving great snows but the GFS 12z shows this diving into france.... Please please let the UKMO be the one...
  8. UkMO channel low at +48? Or the 12z gfs? Which one? Nick? TEITS? Steve? John?
