    today we had two thunderstorms in yeovil 1st one was about 1pm with a more severe one about 3.30pm with hail and a very loud crack of thunder

    wet, quite cold. Max temp about 8.3oC. Yesterday it reached 16.6oC mid afternoon

    i remember this event well. on that saturday morning there was about 3-4 inches of snow lying. most had gone by mid afternoon.

    this year snow lay on the ground for a few hours on april 6th. the last time it layed here was april 15th 1999 :lol:

    there was a ground frost in yeovil early this morning. Temperatures this afternoon again reached 13oC
