  1. We got a bullseye with the east coast storms in N.W Edinburgh earlier , heavy rain for about 45 mins and near continuous thunder for 20 mins , at the same time low cloud still drifting of the North Sea
  2. Yep , think it’s just gonna miss Edinburgh/ Currie, like to be under that shower though
  3. Looks like I’ll need to walk down the road to get into warning zone , north west Edinburgh , sigh
  4. First snow here north west Edinburgh since November , big flakes but only slushy deposits on car , still snow though
  5. I’m sitting in a park in Edinburgh , I’m sure there’s a simple answer but what makes the clouds appear just before going in front of the sun , happened several times this week IMG_6119.MOV
  6. It’s an interesting debate to have , i would have to say a combination of intensity of rain , drains not being as clear as should be and new development don’t help the situation , the water was certainly sitting at either end of stand when rest of flood had gone , i so feel for shop owners who will be prone to this happening again ,
  7. 29th june 2019 was the same intensity of rain as today just didn’t last so long , lack of council drain cleaning must go towards the flooding we saw in stockbridge today
  8. Amazingly dry central Edinburgh , just enough rain to slightly dampen ground , totally different story on east side of Edinburgh apparently , looks like we won’t get much soon according to radar
