  1. Netweather radar extra, I have rain alerts on, push notifications off but still get news alerts, other than that the apps great, might come in handy later.
  2. I keep getting push notifications even though they are switched off.
  3. I''ve found it to be fairly accurate. I tapped your location in and here's the forecast.
  4. Total of 1659mm here. Wettest month was June 212.5mm. Driest month was March 48mm. Wettest day 16th June 49mm.
  5. Absolute monster of a storm to the west southwest of Laurieston village here in Galloway. Continuous thunder with only a few seconds between rumbles, crazy.
  6. This is the first month I've started recording rainfall, 135mm for January.
  7. http://www.corsock.com http://www.gmercer-gm4bes.co.uk/current_vantage_pro.html Two private stations in my area, if anyone from D&G wants to keep an eye on wind speeds.
  8. Don't know if its any use but weatheronline.co.uk can give you a table for 24hr precipitation for Europe, just look for the worldwide weather ranking box on the homepage.
  9. Ground frost here yesterday morning and a slight air frost this morning, weather station along the road down in the river valley dropped down to minus 3 just before dawn, currently 10.4c.
  10. Some stats for near here. Highest daily rainfall 81.8mm 10th July 1999 Wettest month 319.2mm November 2009
  11. Could see some low maxes in this area today, it,s only 11.9c here at the moment.
  12. Cloudy, damp with moderate drizzle, fresh southerly wind and the temperature currently 15c. Ugh.
  13. Thunder in this area now, not that frequent, maybe a rumble every 5 minutes or so, some extremely heavy downpours around but very localised.
  14. It's very rare for the thermometer to rise above 24c here, so I guess a minimum of 2 or 3 days above 24c could be considered a heatwave.
  15. Thick fog here with the odd burst of light drizzle, southerly breeze and currently 13c. Just for interest the 30cm earth temp at the local weather station is 12.5c.
  16. Low cloud and spells of moderate drizzle, gentle WSW wind, Temp 16c, Dewpoint 15.6c
  17. Currently 12.9c with no wind which is very unusual in this area, cloudy with very light rain. Nice conditions for the midges unfortunately.
  18. Very windy here with the direction varying between NW and E, 10 oC colder than yesterday with the temp at 14.1, mostly cloudy with the odd 5 or 10min sunny spell.
  19. I'm going to whine about the wind, you know I'm fed up with it blowing a gale every day of the year, and I'm also sick of the weather breaking down at the weekends, without fail if the weathers going to change for the worse it'l be at the weekend, this week being a perfect example. Any warm sunny weather we get here is always on workdays. Thats it.
  20. Wet and windy at the moment, 22mm in the rain gauge since midnight.
  21. Calm before the storm at the moment, very still outside.
  22. It's just horrible here, foggy with drizzle and light snow falling from the sky. 0.4C with very little wind.
