Been coming down for last 1/2 hr here in York..not very heavy but settling on the bone dry ground.

Evening all. I don't often post as I'm still learning the ropes so to speak. I'm in York and it seems very touch and go, as does my workplace in Leeds. Guess its just now casting?

I think that I may be on the cusp of the sleet up here in York, but I guess it's down to now casting really.

Quite mild now ( or is that just me and my night shift lack of sleep!! ) and wet.

Pelting it down here in Morley..they are having to send people home..apart from us night shift cronies!!

Amazing storm here in Leeds around lunchtime. Fork lightning and torrential downpours, the street was like a river!! Usually a storm will clear the muggyness..no such joy here!

Not sure mate, i`m at work at present, will pop out in a bit to check. I work next to the white rose whilst home is at the top of churwell hill. When i left home at 19:30pm it was 11 cm.

Its been strange old night. Fantastic today, then looked like turning to rain for a time, now this. Unfortunately i dont have access to the radar at present, have you any chance of anything over the next few hrs?
