  1. Wind seems much stronger than Sunday but of course I may have been asleep at its height. 'Pete
  2. No amber warning here but Mold, 2 miles away has one, I'm kinda feeling left out. Pete
  3. Not a cloud in the sky this far west, which is something of a surprise. Up to 32.8C since my last post, maybe we'll see the old record of 35.2C being broken again but the new record is probably out of reach....We'll see. Pete
  4. Just gone past 30.0C here, hotter than this time yesterday and still sunny. Pete
  5. I'm 3 miles away from Hawarden and I'm seeing 37.6C and I usually get 0.5C lower than the station! Pete
  6. 33.7 Just now, getting close to Wales record! Pete
  7. Yeah, I'm just 3 miles away from Hawarden, albeit at 90m higher, and recorded 31,7C. I think the Wales record will be beaten on Monday. Pete
  8. Peaked at 31.7 here about an hour ago. Think the record, set 3 miles from here will go tomorrow, hope it stays in Flintshire but other areas are in the hunt, Pete
  9. O.K, So I'm up to 21C at 09.30 with some hazy sunshine. Minimum temperature last night was 15C. Pete
  10. Not looking forward to this, wife has a hospital appointment 12 miles away and I have a visit to the Dentist both in the morning when this'll be at its peak. Not good. Pete
  11. Lots of road closures around here. Still raining and my septic tank has had enough!
  12. I remember watching a BBC weather forecast in the early to mid 80's. Described by the forecaster as a rare blizzard, it was going to hit The Midlands down to The South coast. Overnight however the low took a last minute unexpected southern turn, leaving the mainland snowless but hitting The Channel Islands (and Northern France) with 4 foot drifts. Pete
  13. Very windy now, has really picked up up in the last half an hour. Pete
  14. Heavy snow here and sticking too. Multiple accidents reported along the A55. Pete
  15. Massive Thunderstorm here, torrential rain and hail, lane I live in completely flooded. Pete
  16. Thunder here!!! Seems to be coming from over The Wirral Pete
  17. Temperature has dropped to 25 and it's getting more difficult to see any blue patches of sky. Humidity is off the scale really and we've had a couple of light showers. I've just done a medium wave crackle test and it was negative, there's hardly any breeze to speak of so I reckon that if it happens at all it's going to be a few hours away. We're also in something of a rain shadow here, the Clwydian Hills soak up much of it before it can get here. Pete
