  1. Near Falkirk the snowfall has stopped but temps.are now lowered such that no thawing is possible.Seems like an over-estimated drama was forecast, at least for Central Scotland. Why these errors occur when the satellite photos are there for the experts to analyise is beyond me.Perhaps some of the showery activity moving toward the country is not actually showers? I saw the charts on the BBC forecast and showers were clearly visible...but where did they go?Possibly to bed
  2. Near Falkirk, the snowshowers have continued and the roads have fell silent of the hiss you get when it is wet.Good covering now and temp.at 0c.The Westerly aspect and coldness of the air should make the Forth Clyde valley an easy target for a good few inches tonight.
  3. Snow lying now near Falkirk, roads white, pavements and roofs white.Temperature still on the wrong side of freezing for 100% retention of accumulation.
  4. http://livecam.lkw.li/ As I'm new here,I probably should not start a new thread based on this webcam from Liechtenstein, but it's just in case you never came across it.The cam is now live 24/7 and presently if you zoom into the street lights, you will see snowfall.
  5. ...But no snowfall observed.Interesting. B)
