Apart from one 3 minute blip it's been snowing here since 8.50am Anyone else pulling an all nighter?

Stopped here for now, fingers crossed for more.

It's really coming down but there seems to be a little sleetiness to it?? Oh and someone stole my snowman

Started snowing here at 8.50am (just as i'd mocked the little one i'd take him to school, then snow would come and I'd play in all day while he was at school)...... Kids we're kicked out of school by lunchtime. light flurries continued after heav snow this morning and now the snow is perking up again and getting heavier. Fingers crossed for a massive dumping, but fatman isn't impressed as he had to go to Northants today and it ook him forever.

Right, I really don't understand all this dew point and temp stuff so can someone just give me a bit of a run down? I tried to google, ended up on wiki..... and well... I'm feeling ever so slightly dumb right now. Looking at that link someone posted for nearby weather stations it says my temp is 3 with a dew point of 3 also. I have a few flakes of snow coming down (it's warm!!) How do the temp and dew point correlate when trying to work out what's optimum for snow??

Snow now, no longer sleet. I have no idea of temp but I do know I'm quite high up at 178m asl. I hope it stays a while, kids are getting excited!

Someone is pushing a 4ft tall snowball down my road!! Snow is much smaller flakes now but still coming........ hope it lasts

Is ours likely to turn to rain? Just realised it doesn't tell you where I am, i'm south Dudley at 178m asl...... Not that i'm sure that helps anyone....

Thanks for the welcome Bottesford! I can't read the charts to save my life, but I feel like I've looked at every radar going for the last week! I'm one very happy bunny tonight and the nipper will be when he gets up in the morning, providing this stuff doesn't go anywhere.

We have snow!!!!!!!! Ok, I know I'm just a lurker, but my GOD I've been waiting for at least a flake since SUNDAY!! I'm so excited I could pee
