  1. 3.2C, snow lying everywhere despite the fact its been raining steadily for last five hours. Patchy fog to add to the already wonderful driving conditions. Don't you just love the winter...
  2. I assume you mean my varicose veins? Back on topic, now -3.7C
  3. Freezing here...its -4.1C but was -7C at 6.30am. Sadly, the fetching thermals will be required today.
  4. A 1cm dusting of snow and 0.4C loving my weather station!
  5. I got a weather station from my gorgeous husband for Christmas. As a result I am able to post the following information: 1.8C and the weather boy has a thick coat on, and his umbrella with him The rest of the data I don't quite understand yet. Oh, and its been snowing.
  6. Freezing. Feels like March here. Not pleasant
  7. Not really. It feels and looks like its going to snow here too, but as I have just had my knees done I must struggle onto my Stanner and make my way to bed. I fully expect to awake to a blanket of snow however.
  8. No spam intended, but what a fabulous signature line I have suddenly inherited.
  9. Very gusty, and very cold. Quite impressive really Phew, I'm glad I don't belong to the lagomorph family on a night like this.
  10. Very wet, very windy, very cold and very miserable. Probably only polar bears are pleased to be outside today.
  11. Torrential rain here for about an hour at 4.30pm. A veritable river in the car park outside my shop! Impressive, but worrying considering I had forgotton my umbrella.
  12. A sort of nothing weather day here. Calm, cold and dull.
  13. You know those old men that you see standing at bus stops that look grey. Grey clothes, grey faces, and grey windswept hair? Well todays weather reminded me of them. Grey, and windswept. I hope tomorrow is brighter and will make me think of Lily Savage rather than John Humpheys.
  14. Good god its getting even colder here, wet, windy and thoroughly unpleasant. I may need to look out my fluffy pink bedsocks tonight.
  15. I wish it would make its mind up here. One minute sunshine, next rain, then sleet and 5 mins ago I'm certain there were a few tiny (emphasis on tiny) flakes. Feels cold, but as Father Christmas failed to meet my request of a weather station I have no idea of any vital statistics.
  16. The wind here is quite incredible. Two minutes ago I saw a little old lady hanging onto a car wing mirror in a futile attempt to remain upright.
  17. Heavy, thick snow! Thrilled! The sky is full, so looking forward to plenty more. Happy Christmas to everyone
  18. Happy Christmas, and what a wonderful, wonderful scene I have woken up to! Its a blizzard here! Really heavy, and after only 5 minutes its settling! This is the best Chrsitmas present ever; I am thrilled! And just for the record I am in Addingham, not Cumbria! Fantastic, wonderful stuff....yes WB is a happy bunny.
  19. Oz, you lucky b...... Just come home from a few festive drinkies and sad to report that its mild, wet and still very windy. I will be amazed if we get any snow.
  20. Somehow the arrival of snow tomorrow seems very unlikely. Its wet, windy and very, very mild. Couldn't be less Christmassy. Fingers crossed for tomorrow.
  21. London was very mild this morning, but now back in Ilkley its cold, wet and very blustery. I am just thankful I'm not wearing a skirt.
  22. Absolutely freezing, but this is compensated by a glorious clear blue sky. A stunning day for a spot of clay pigeon shooting.
